Yes. Eligible NAV environments can be migrated toward Dynamics 365 Business Central. The exact route depends on the NAV version, customizations, data, and target environment. Microsoft notes that older NAV environments may require intermediate upgrades, while custom C/AL code may need to be converted to AL extensions or addressed through a reimplementation approach.
We evaluate them individually. Business-critical data and functionality can be prepared for the target environment, while outdated or unnecessary customizations may be modernized or retired. This helps avoid transferring technical debt into the new Dynamics 365 environment.
There is no single timeline that applies to every migration. Duration depends on the source platform and version, data volume and quality, number of legal entities, customization complexity, integrations, testing requirements, and rollout strategy. A migration assessment is the best way to establish a realistic project timeline.
